H&M is known for its on-trend seasonal approach, but it's fast becoming recognised for its work in ensuring that fashion remains responsible and sustainable.

This spring, much of its collection uses the innovative Agraloop Biofibre, which is a high-quality natural material made from food-crop waste. It works by recovering crop waste such as banana peels, pineapple leaves and plant stems, spinning them out and then turning them in to sustainable clothing, with a goal of reducing the environmental impact of fashion.

As well as being good for the environment, this collection looks great, and is easy on the wallet too. It's chic, minimal and based around neutrals. Here's how to travel into spring in style:

Oversize Trench Coat, $119.00

We predict this will become one of your most worn wardrobe items this spring. The oversized, double breasted trench is super chic, and extremely versatile.

It has a wide collar and notch lapels, shoulder tabs, voluminous raglan sleeves and a detachable tie belt at the waist. It's made from Agraloop biofibres from hemp waste and organic cotton, and a recycled polyester lining.
