Hamish Blake and Zoë Foster Blake's rumoured Gogglebox salary leaked

Just a few days after being announced as contestants on Celebrity Gogglebox Australia, Hamish Blake and Zoë Foster Blake’s whopping paycheque has reportedly leaked online.

The couple, who have been married for almost a decade and share two children together, join a long list of Aussie celebrities appearing in the special one-off episode airing on Foxtel and Channel 10 next month.

According to Woman’s Day, Hamish and Zoë have been paid $500,000 to sit on the couch and share their thoughts on some of the latest shows TV has to offer.

The rumoured salary comes after the pair signed a multi-project deal with Foxtel, with rumours that their upcoming TV stint will help them launch their own series.

“Australia has been crying out for the Blakes to make their own reality show for years now – and Foxtel has heard this loud and clear,” a source told the publication.

“They're going to use Celebrity Gogglebox as a bit of a trial run for them to see if they could hold a show in their own right.”

It’s also reported that TV executives are “very excited” by the concept of a Keeping Up With The Kardashians-style show featuring the comedian and entrepreneur balancing parenthood with their enormous careers.

The pair are said to be the ultimate combination of living a life of luxury in their $9 million Sydney mansion and being down-to-earth and relatable.

In the meantime, producers are hopeful that Australians will fall in love with Hamish and Zoë on Celebrity Gogglebox, where they will feature alongside a variety of star-studded groups.

It was announced last week that Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin, who are often referred to as ‘Australia’s favourite family’, will also be joining the reality TV show.

“We are passionate Wildlife Warriors and conservationists but at the day's end, we love our family time watching TV together. Can't wait for everyone to get a little look into what a night at the Irwin household looks like!” Robert said in a statement from Foxtel.

Comedian, radio star and The Masked Singer judge Dave Hughes is also sitting down on the couch with his wife of 16 years, Holly Ife, as well as former MasterChef judge Matt Preston and his friend, Logie and AACTA Award-winning actor Lachy Hulme.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! co-host Julia Morris is set to appear on the show alongside fellow comedian and regular panellist on The Project, Nazeem Hussain, as well as best friends, comedians, writers, and actors Celia Pacquola and Luke McGregor.

Rounding out the group is fashion designer and former Australia’s Next Top Model judge Alex Perry, who will be joined by hairstylist Joh Bailey and model Cheyenne Tozzi.

Celebrity Gogglebox Australia airs 7.30pm Wednesday, March 2 on Foxtel then 8.30pm Thursday, March 3 on Channel 10.
