Halsey reveals she was recently hospitalized after suffering 'very scary' seizure

The "Be Kind" singer has returned home after staying at the hospital for "a few days."

Halsey is providing fans with an update after their recent health scare.

On Wednesday, the “Be Kind” singer, who uses she/they pronouns, posted an Instagram video of themself in a hospital bed with fiancé Avan Jogia in a nearby chair.

“Happy Late Bi Visibility Day,” they wrote. “This year I’m celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that’s a joke).”

In the clip, Halsey can be seen with an IV in their arm as they flash a peace sign and remark, “Happy Bi Visibility Day. We had a whole plan for you guys.”

The artist shed further light on how they were feeling in a Q&A with fans on X (formerly Twitter) later that evening. When asked about their current health, Halsey replied, “I’m home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!”

When a separate fan asked if the hospitalization was related to any of their chronic illnesses, they answered, “I had a seizure! Very scary! Don’t recommend it!"
