Halle Bailey Gave Her Honest Opinion About Gaining Her "Grown Woman Weight" After A Fan Asked About Changes In Her Body

Today is Halle Bailey's 25th birthday!

And to celebrate, she held a Q&A on her Snapchat the day before to allow her fans to get to know her a little better.

One fan asked if she "noticed a difference" in her body after switching from a vegan diet to eating meat, and The Little Mermaid star responded happily and honestly.

"Lmao yes," Halle said. "I've been happy with my booty weight gain, but having to work out more to keep the other places in check, lol."

"I feel like eating meat during and after pregnancy has really given me my grown woman body finally, lol," she added. "'Cause I've been petite."

The singer welcomed her first child, a beautiful baby boy named Halo, in December 2023 with her former partner, YouTuber and rapper DDG.

Another fan wondered if she was following a specific diet plan or workout, which Halle denied. "Not currently, but I need to get on it. I have exciting things in May that I want my body to be right for lol."

Hmm...something in May? I wonder if this has anything to do with Italianna, the romantic comedy she recently signed on for alongside Regé-Jean Page.

I'm not sure, but I'm just glad to hear she's feeling more comfortable in her body again. In April 2024, Halle revealed she didn't feel "normal" in her postpartum body and that she was having a hard time adjusting to who she saw in the mirror.

"The only thing that's been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body," Halle told Entertainment Tonight. "I feel like a completely different person when I look in the mirror. I just feel like I'm in a whole new body, and I don't know who I am."

"Now, going through it, it feels like you're swimming in this ocean that's like the biggest waves you've ever felt, and you're trying not to drown."
