Grimes Just Responded To Elon Musk Taking Their Son X Æ A-Xii To The Oval Office With Donald Trump
Elon Musk is parading his 4-year-old son with Grimes around the White House, and she is not happy about it.
In case you missed it: On Tuesday, Donald Trump announced a new executive order giving the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) even more power and authority over the federal workforce.
Elon (the head of DOGE) appeared at the Oval Office with his son, X Æ A-Xii, who goes by Lil X. The child sat atop Elon's shoulders, picked his nose beside Trump, and generally looked adorable.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), Grimes complimented political commentator and podcast host Ezra Klein on his ability to speak calmly with someone with an "opposing viewpoint" to reach a "rough consensus."
This person in the comments wrote, "Lil X was very polite today! You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT 'please forgive me, I need to pee.'"
Apparently, Grimes wasn't aware that Elon had taken their eldest son to the White House.
The pair also share a son named Techno Mechanicus and a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl. Grimes has previously opened up about the custody battle over the kids, which she claimed prevented her from seeing one of the children for five months.
The singer replied, "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me."
"But I'm glad he was polite," she continued. "Sigh."
Many people in the comments sympathized with her. One person said it wasn't good for "the kid to be in the middle of all this chaos," while another wrote, "Honestly, my heart sank when I saw him in the Oval Office. This must be so tough for you."
This isn't the first time Grimes has shared her disapproval of Elon's parenting. Last month, someone on X criticized the Tesla CEO for "parading" their son around. She tweeted, "I have made it clear I do not approve of that in every conceivable way I know how."
"I am desperate to solve it. It is a personal tragedy to me. But currently I don't know how to do that," she concluded.
