How to Make Greek Yogurt 10x Better
Greek yogurt is undeniably healthy—it's packed with protein, probiotics and calcium— but I’ve never been a fan of its tangy, sour flavor and thick, slightly chalky texture. It can be off-putting for those who prefer sweeter or creamier options. However, there are ways to elevate its taste, like adding honey or granola to mask the tanginess. Blending it into smoothies or using it as a creamy base for dips also makes it more palatable.
Butt recently, I discovered a recipe promising to make Greek yogurt 10 times better and it might finally encourage me to give the tangy stuff another try. The recipe, which was shared on the food site Simply Recipes, is a version of a recipe that went viral a while back but that I hadn't thought about in ages. It looks both easy and delicious— what's not to love?

How to Make Greek Yogurt Bites
Frozen chocolate-covered fruit and yogurt clusters were viral a few years back, but they’ve stayed a favorite in many kitchens because they’re simple to make, they only need a handful of ingredients and they taste like a healthier version of ice cream, which makes them exceptionally enjoyable.
When the fruit-and-yogurt clusters were making the rounds, Amy Flanigan, the creator behind @bellyfullblog, said she had been making them twice a week for a month. That's a ringing endorsement!
The recipe starts with mixing a cup of fresh fruit (like strawberries or blueberries) with 1/4 a cup of Greek yogurt, then dolloping that onto parchment paper and freezing it. While the yogurt clusters are in the freezer, melt some chocolate and coconut oil together. Remove the frozen yogurt clusters and dip them into the melted chocolate mix, which will harden into a shell thanks to the coconut oil.

Pro Tips For Making The Best Yogurt Bites
This is a a simple, delicious treat, but having a few tips on hand can make it even easier to make.
For one, use fresh fruit because frozen fruit is trickier to work with. The yogurt just doesn't stick to it enough. Also, if you want a smoother treat, just add a bit more yogurt.
You can use any type of chocolate you like—semi-sweet, milk, dark or white chocolate—it all depends on what flavor profile you are going for. Speaking of flavor, if you want something extra, sprinkle your clusters with salt, cardamom, chili flakes or Tajín for a fun twist.
Other than switching out the chocolate, you can use different fruit, too, like mango, kiwi or pitted cherries, and you can use different types of yogurt if you want something sweeter or with more flavor, like vanilla yogurt or strawberry-flavored yogurt.
Personally, I would love to mix up some peach yogurt with mango chunks. Sprinkle that with some Tajin and freeze. I'd dip that in dark chocolate and sprinkle it with some flaky salt.
Another great combination would be strawberry yogurt mixed with blueberries and coated in white chocolate. You can mix and match to make these exactly what you want, though, and it's a great way to dress up that Greek yogurt that I know I need to eat more of.
