Glen Powell and His Precious Rescue Pup 'Brisket' Basically Share All Their Meals

America's sweetheart, also known as actor Glen Powell, star of the action blockbuster Twisters, is continuing his crusade to be named one of the most adorable dog dad's ever, this time by recounting a cute fact about his rescue pup, 'Brisket.'

If you thought that this pair couldn't get any more adorable, I'm here to happily tell you that you are wrong.

There's a super sweet article in the special digital editor of Vogue Magazine entitled Dogue that celebrates lots of famous dogs and of course Brisket is included. The Instagram post reads, "Carney’s Restaurant sees more than its fair share of celebrities. The Los Angeles fast-casual burger joint is used to welcoming stars for a post-premiere hot dog, but rarely do they see the hot dog himself. The morning after the LA premiere of “Twisters,” however, Brisket Powell sauntered through the door of the restaurant, still wearing his bow tie from the night before. Believe it or not, our #Dogue cover star has been growing a steady fan base of his own over the last year that Powell’s had him. (“He is officially verified on Instagram,” Powell’s publicist told Vogue via email.) From who would voice Brisket in a movie (@tchalamet we’re looking at you) to the pup’s weirdest nickname, at the link in our bio, @glenpowell talks about his costar for life, Brisket."

In the article itself, when Powell was asked what Brisket's favorite meal is, the actor is quoted as saying, "I’ve tried different stuff, but when I’m eating really well and trying to get in shape, Brisket and I actually eat very similarly: chicken, quinoa, carrots, and sweet potatoes. If I have work coming up, Brisket and I tend to share meals.

He’s going to be a totally ripped little pup. We have gone on workouts. He does like to run, but there’s a point at which he literally stops running. There’s no negotiation—he just sits down and is like, “Yeah, that’s it.”

Okay, the idea of Powell and Brisket sharing meals is just too cute for words, but is it safe?

Dogs can actually eat a lot of human foods, and all the foods that Powell says Brisket eats, chicken, quinoa, carrots, and sweet potatoes, are all safe for dogs.

Poultry should have the skin removed, and dogs shouldn't eat meat that is heavily seasoned.

Other safe food for dogs include fresh vegetables (cooked or steamed), fresh fruits, and boiled white rice.

Dogs can also eat fruits such as apples, bananas, blueberries, oranges, watermelon, and cucumber are all safe for your dog in moderation.

You shouldn't give you pup candy or chocolate, and limit the crackers, chips, pizza and dog treats to occasional nibbles.

Pasta, potato, bread and cheese are also all fine in moderation, but if your dog has any gastric distress after consuming any sort of people food, consult with your veterinarian. That goes for you too, Glenn Powell.
