Part of the Gilmore Girls cast is home for the holidays—and fans couldn't be more delighted.

The wholesome new commercial—posted to Walmart's Instagram page—features Patterson, 66, slipping back into his role as diner owner Luke Danes, who receives a special Walmart delivery from the town's jack-of-all-trades, Kirk (Sean Gunn).
Graham, 57, who starred as one of the titular characters, caffeine-obsessed Lorelai Gilmore, then enters Luke's coffee shop as her character so frequently does, where she requests her usual order: "Coffee coffee coffee."
Patterson then presents her with the giant Walmart box, which she opens to reveal a new Keurig coffee maker inside.
"Luke! You shouldn't have," she says, to which Patterson's character replies, "I had to. You're drinking me out of business."
The wholesome, yet brief interaction is only a snapshot of the lively banter between the two characters, who fans haven't seen onscreen together since 2016 in the Netflix reboot series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
"I love being a gilmore girls fan bc why am i crying over a 20 second walmart ad after an 8 year drought," one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote after seeing the heartwarming ad.
"This means so much to me btw," someone else wrote on Instagram, while another person added, "Hearing Lauren/Lorelai say 'Coffee, coffee, coffee!' in the year 2024 healed something in me 😭❤️."
But in addition to fans who were left feeling emotional about the reunion, some people were curious if the new ad means another potential reboot could be in the works.
"THE REBOOT ENDED ON A CLIFF HANGER & THIS AD PROVES THAT THE SET IT STILL UP & ACCESSIBLE ALSO SHOWS THE PRODUCERS STILL HAVE THE ACTORS CONTACT INFORMATION I AM QUITE EXCITED 4 THE FUTURE OMG I BELIEVE SOMETHING IS COMING," one enthusiastic X user wrote.
"I NEED MORE," someone else on Instagram implored.
