Gigi Hadid is pulling back the curtain on one of her most dramatic looks.

During a Tuesday, April 8 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the model, 29, revealed that her recent silver hair transformation wasn't as permanent as it looked.

"It was a wig," Hadid told host Jimmy Fallon when he showed the audience a photo of her silver locks at Le Grand Dîner du Louvre in Paris in March. "It's so fun, like I get to do fun stuff."

"Everyone was freaking out," she added.

The Guest in Residence founder further explained the style, saying, "That night, it was two Moschino dresses that had been like Frankenstein'ed together for this special thing at the Louvre and sometimes you just have to go there with the whole thing."

The model also said she "had fun with the silver hair."

During her appearance on the show, Hadid was back to her usual darker golden locks, which she wore pulled back into a sleek bun with a strand framing her face.
