Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage: Watch Exclusive Trailer for Young Sheldon Spinoff Starring Montana Jordan and Emily Osment

TVLine has your exclusive first look at the trailer for the highly anticipated Young Sheldon spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

Premiering Thursday, Oct. 17 (CBS, 8/7c), Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage follows the titular couple (played by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment) “as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage,” according to the official logline.

In Episode 1, titled “The 6:10 to Lubbock,” Georgie and Mandy get fed up staying with Mandy’s parents Jim and Audrey — played by fellow Young Sheldon vets Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones — and reconsider their living situation after a conflict with Mandy’s mom. You can see a bit of their family feud in the trailer, which (surprise, surprise!) stems from Audrey’s feelings about her son-in-law.

Unlike Young Sheldon, which pivoted to a single-camera format, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will revert to multi-cam and shoot in front of a live, studio audience — just like The Big Bang Theory. The spinoff hails from Young Sheldon co-creators Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, and fellow Big Bang grad Steve Holland. Have a look at the key art below:

In addition to Jordan, Osment, Sasso and Jones, the cast of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage includes Dougie Baldwin (Disjointed) as Mandy’s brother Connor, and Jessie Prez (Griselda) as tire store employee Ruben. Zoe Perry (aka Mary Cooper) and Annie Potts (Meemaw) guest-star in the pilot, while Raegan Revord (Missy) appears in Episode 2.

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage premieres Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8/7c on CBS, and will stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
