George Clooney Shares Bold Opinion of Taylor Swift Following Her Kamala Harris Endorsement

While attending the premiere of his new film Wolfs, movie star George Clooney gave his thoughts on "Fortnight" singer Taylor Swift's strong endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

The Associated Press asked Clooney about Swift's endorsement, which she shared on Tuesday, Sept. 10—the same day Harris and presidential candidate Donald Trump participated in a debate.

In a new video clip published on X, the interviewer asked, "I was curious what you thought about Taylor's endorsement of Harris?"

Clooney smoothly shared his thoughts, replying, "It was beautiful. What a beautiful thing to do. And, you know, she's a real phenomenon right now."

"It's exciting to see all these young people really engaged in sort of the national discourse...And so I'm very excited to see her engaged," he went on.

Swift shared her thoughts on the presidential candidates in a bold message following Trump's use of AI to claim she supported him.

She wrote, "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."

"I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos," the statement went on.

Swift ended the message with a pointed jab at Trump's vice presidential candidate, JD Vance, as she signed off, "With love and hope, Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady."

Many fans praised Swift for speaking out and sharing her endorsement, sharing similar opinions to Clooney. The Gravity star has been vocal about politics for a long time, and Clooney gained a lot of attention for releasing an op-ed earlier this year asking President Joe Biden to step down as the presidential candidate.
