Most amicable exes in Hollywood? It might just be Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner right now. On January 30, a source for Page Six claimed the two—who have been broken up for nearly a decade—have been "spending more time together than ever" and "are closer than they’ve ever been since their divorce."
So...what has brought these exes together? According to the insider, the tragic L.A. wildfires and Ben's recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez are two of the main reasons why Ben and Jen "have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever." Makes sense!
The Page Six source went on to add that Ben and Jennifer "really do have a close bond" and "know not all exes get along as well, and they feel very grateful that they have such an amazing relationship."
Just a few days earlier on January 25, Ben and Jennifer reunited for their middle child Fin's school play. And according to the Daily Mail, Ben fled to Jennifer's house earlier this month when the wildfires forced him to evacuate from his own home.
You might recall that the two even spent Christmas together with their three children. "It's all for the kids," a source for People said at the time. "Jen grew up surrounded by her family for the holidays, and she wants the same for her kids."
However! If you're wondering whether Ben and Jennifer will ever get back together, the answer is...probably not. When reconciliation rumors first started circulating back in November (following the pair's viral Thanksgiving charity outing), an insider told Entertainment Tonight that Ben was merely "leaning on" his ex amid his divorce from J.Lo, emphasizing that he and Jen "have always been close and always will be."
