Francesca Scorsese Shares Photo of Dad Martin Set to SZA's New Song 'Scorsese Baby Daddy'

Francesca Scorsese is a fan of SZA's song tribute to her father, Martin Scorsese.

Francesca, 25, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of the legendary director eating pasta at a restaurant set to SZA's new song "Scorsese Baby Daddy." "SZA, Queen s---," Francesca captioned the picture of Martin, 82.

SZA, 35, was honored to see her music reach the Goodfellas director. "The fact that this isn’t AI, and it is actually Martin Scorsese 😭," she wrote, reposting the image, per UPROXX.

"Scorsese Baby Daddy" came out on Friday, Dec. 20 as part of SZA's latest album SOS Deluxe: Lana. In the song, she muses about high-stakes drama, not unlike Scorsese's own films.

"I rolled up all my problems / And then I smoked about it / I could've called my mom up / I'd rather f--- about it / Addicted to the drama / Scorsese baby daddy," SZA sings.

At another point, the song includes the lyrics: "I would pretend to do my favorite man, he'd call me tasty / Furious lady, then I wonder if I could do, baby / One day, I'll understand all that it takes to be a lady."

In 2022, she released the song "Kill Bill," borrowing the title from another famous director's 2003 film — Quentin Tarantino.

SZA's 38-track album SOS Deluxe: Lana, which includes 14 new songs and all 23 tracks from SOS, came out after several delays.

"(Had to get my mixes right lol ! All songs are delivered and Ingesting into the system as we speak🙂‍↕️ pls be kind .. we been up for days )," the "All the Stars" singer wrote on Instagram on Dec. 19.

SZA previously teased her latest album in December 2023 on Instagram. A year later, she confirmed the album would be released this month.

She has an exciting 2025 ahead of her. The four-time Grammy winner will be joining Kendrick Lamar on the road 2025 for the Grand National Tour throughout the U.S. at major stadiums starting in April.
