Frances Abbott reveals shock new look

Last year, Frances Abbott surprised everyone when she got engaged after dating her now hubby for just two weeks.

Now the daughter of former Prime Minister Tony Abbott has shocked fans again by debuting an unexpected new look.

The 27-year-old revealed a bold haircut — a minimalistic buzz cut — on her Instagram account yesterday, and her followers are loving it.

Alongside a black and white photo of Frances smiling with her new ‘do, streams of comments have praised her as “beautiful” and “amazing”.

“You look empowered,” one fan said.

Others noted her similarities to well-known celebs who have also rocked the shaved hair look such as Sinead O’Connor and Demi Moore.

“Woweee, it suits you so much,” someone commented.

Frances hasn’t revealed much behind her decision to chop off her long blonde locks, simply captioning the snap “buzzed” — but she’s no stranger to a quick decision.

Earlier this year, she married Sam Loch, 34, just three months after they met.

The pair had got engaged after just two weeks of dating.

Last month she shared a photo from her big day with her dad Tony — the former leader of the Liberal party — and mum Margaret, thanking them for their “unconditional love”.

Just a year earlier she made her debut as a bodybuilder, showing off the result of months of personal training and a strict diet at a competition in Melbourne.

Tony’s youngest daughter took home a medal in the event and has been competing ever since.
