Tony Abbott's daughter Frances makes her bodybuilding debut
Whatever your thoughts on her former PM father, there’s no doubting that Frances Abbott is an absolute babe.
Australia’s former first daughter competed in her first professional body building competition today and slayed.
Looking tanned and toned, Frances, a 26-year-old personal trainer based in Melbourne, took part in both the 'first timer' and 'sports model' categories at the Australian ICN Victorian State Titles competition.
Dressed in a black leather-look bikini emblazoned with gemstones, she impressed the judges enough to take home a medal, and judging by her Instagram posts, that’s everything she had hoped for.
With her cheer squad of friends in tow, Frances told her Instagram followers that she was thrilled with the results and was off to celebrate with some food and wine.
Frances’ bodybuilding success comes after she publicly threw her support behind the Yes campaign for marriage equality.
Just the night before her competition, the former fashion student posted an image of her marriage survey with a neat tick in the ‘yes’ box.
“ITS TIME,” she wrote, “I GOT MY SURVEY It's here.”
“I just got my hair done. I am in second hand PJ pants I bought from the Salvos today on the way to the tanning salon.
“I open the mail box and start jumping up and down like Christmas. I shouldn't be sweating but I am so so so so so excited it's here. Ripped the envelope open. TICKED THE YES BOX. And running straight back down stairs. Power walking to the post office and posting this baby RIGHT NOW.”
She joins Tony Abbott’s gay sister Christine Forster, who is also publicly supporting the ‘yes’ vote.
