People Are Outraged About Nigella's Avocado On Toast Recipe

Nigella Lawson is back on our TV screens and she's somehow already managed to cause a furore online.

The sultry chef has the world of Twitter up in arms about her latest avocado on toast recipe, which simply shows the 55-year-old spreading the smashed delight on a slice of fresh toast.

Nigella's show, which is called Simply Nigella, was hailed as the star's comeback into the world of TV cooking, after she spent a few years away from the spotlight.

However she has now been accused of playing it too safe with her latest BBC2 show, after creating her favourtite breakfast snack avocado on toast.

Taking to Twitter, people let their true feelings be known about Nigella's 'posh' avo on toast.

"Watching Nigella on catch up... The first thing she's making is avocado on toast? Because everyone is dying to know how to make it?," one Twitter user said.

"Every time I watched Nigella and that avocado I just shake my head whilst trying to hide my rage," another said.

Nigella hit back on Twitter saying: "As I said on the show, it's not a recipe - but chatting about the food I eat is what I do!"
