Netflix has just released the first images of Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones in series three of The Crown.
This comes just days after Netflix released their first look at Olivia Colman as The Queen.
Helena will be replacing Vanessa Kirby, who played Princess Margaret for the first two seasons.
First look at Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret in The Crown
Back in May Helena said she was ‘terrified’ of her upcoming role, stating via The Crown’s official Twitter:
“I’m not sure which I’m more terrified about – doing justice to the real Princess Margaret or following in the shoes of Vanessa Kirby’s Princess Margaret. The only thing I can guarantee is that I’ll be shorter.”
Vanessa Kirby wrote she was ‘honoured’ on her official Instagram account that Helena is taking over her role on the hit Netflix series.

Ben Daniels will replace Matthew Goode, who played Princess Margaret’s photographer husband Antony Armstrong-Jones (also known as Lord Snowdon) in the second series. Ben said of joining The Crown cast:
“After being glued to the first two seasons of The Crown I am beyond thrilled to be joining the cast of this incredible piece of television. Snowdon was such a dynamic and complex man, I’m really looking forward to playing him.”
When is series 3 of The Crown on Netflix?
