A First Elimination Blindside! Who Went Home on 'The Challenge All Stars: Rivals' Season 5 Tonight?

Last week, The Challenge All Stars made its return with a new network and theme. And, through two weeks, it's clear that some are not taking kindly to their partnership, getting into some early spats. But while the players came into the season with one rival, the first elimination has proven there's the capacity to build many more. One all star chose to strike while the iron is hot, turning the house against the biggest threats in the game. But they were all thrown for a loop when the winning pair went rogue with their decision, shocking the house with an old-school elimination matchup.

Who was eliminated on The Challenge All Stars: Rivals Season 5 tonight?

Beth Stolarczyk & Jonna Mannion

Beth and Jonna came into the season with one of the fiercest rivalries, with Jonna harboring immensely bad blood at Beth for spreading rumors that allegedly sent her into marriage counseling and almost ruined her life. Despite their awkwardness and animosity, the two felt safe from the first elimination, seeing the house gun for the biggest targets in the game. They–and many people–were thrown for a loop, though, when Amber and Faysal sent them into the sand, despite Amber promising Jonna that she was safe. The two put up an admirable fight against Adam and Steve, but the guys ultimately emerged victorious. And, while Beth felt she had made a new friend in her short time on the season, Jonna's takeaway from their time together was she never wanted to see Beth again.

Who won the daily challenge on The Challenge All Stars: Rivals Season 5 tonight?

As host TJ Lavin described it, this week's daily was "a shitshow." The pairs were tasked with the ultimate test of teamwork, as one person leaned out above a ledge 55 stories above the ground, only supported by their partner and a rope. The heights (and inclement weather) got the best of most of the competitors, with only three teams even attempting the grab, and two getting all four. In the end, Amber and Faysal sprinted where everyone else stumbled, earning the opportunity to pick one pair for elimination.
