Fiona O'Loughlin brands David Oldfield a 'racist pig' on I'm A Celeb
Fiona O'Loughlin branded her fellow campmate David Oldfield a 'racist pig' on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on Thursday night.
The pair clashed after Oldfield shared his views on the Indigenous population of Australia.
Former AFL player Josh Gibson had asked Oldfield on his thoughts on Indigenous people, which is when all hell in camp broke loose.
"I don't have any negative feelings about them," he said. "I don't like a lot of the promotion that is not based on any truth."
This prompted Fiona - whose son works with Indigenous communities - to chime in saying Oldfield's comments were ignorant. But he wasn't having a bar of it.
"You're suffering white guilt," the former deputy leader of Pauline Hanson's One Nation party snapped back.
He claimed he was putting things into 'perspective' and that Indigenous people 'didn't invent anything'.
"You racist pig," Fiona responded lashing out at Oldfield.
“People talk about reconciliation, which is inappropriate because we have never been together and it’s to bring together two peoples that have not been estranged," Oldfield said. "What time do Aboriginal and others feel they’re together as one group?”
“Wind bags like you need to shut up and give them time,” Fiona snapped back.
“It’s primarily my taxes that are paying for all this,” Oldfield replied.
The 54-year-old comedian then went onto label Oldfield as 'hideous', getting up from her camp bed in frustration and anger.
"You are hideous to me, hideous," she said. "You make my skin crawl."
