The video, which was posted on a local Facebook group, attracted more than a thousand comments from people debating whether walking down the street in the bikini was inappropriate.

"That's OK for the beach but not in our historical respectful capital city," another fumed.
"Have some respect woman. Hope she got fined."
"Absolutely disgraceful," a third added.
Others however were not offended the woman took to the streets in the bikini.
"I don't see any disaster she just came out from the beach probably in a rush," one said in defence of the woman.
"Listen sweetie she didn't do anything wrong," another claimed.
"There are bigger problems in other countries," somebody else commented.
"So what?? She is doing nothing wrong," one simply added.
According to the Malta Independent, the country's Article 338(q) of the Criminal Code states it is a minor criminal offence to be indecently dressed or to expose yourself naked in a public place.

"Her decision. Her choice," another claimed.
