Fendi Taps Tan Jianci as Menswear Spokesperson
Fendi has named actor and singer Tan Jianci the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned luxury brand’s menswear spokesperson.
The 34-year-old Chinese idol made his Fendi debut in a campaign dressed in looks from Fendi’s 2025 men’s spring collection, which was lensed by Chinese fashion photographer Oliver June.

In the campaign, Tan is seen lifting a red curtain, dressed in a preppy double-breasted blazer, and carrying a blue Cuoio Romano Peekaboo Soft bag, which is adorned with a crest that incorporates the squirrel and other brand icons from over the years.
In a separate ad, Tan is seen modeling two summery looks from the collection and carrying a playful Baguette handbag emblazoned with cartoon motifs, including one that looks like a mini version of Tan himself. The bag will be a part of a drop next month.
Tan’s acting career began in 2007 with the film “Lost, Indulgence.” His breakout role was in the 2017 historical drama “The Advisors Alliance,” where Tan portrayed the role of Sima Zhao. His roles in the 2024 drama “Under the Skin” and 2023’s “Lost You Forever” further cemented his rising acting career.
Tan made his debut as a member of the M.I.C. Chinese Boy Band in 2010. In 2023, Tan released his first solo album, “Dreams,” followed by “Huan” in 2024. He embarked on his first solo tour the same year, which covered five Chinese cities.
“This collaboration marks a new chapter for Fendi and Tan Jianci, as they join forces to explore remarkable innovations in movies, music and fashion,” the house said in a statement.
Before joining Fendi’s global family, which also includes the Chinese actress Tang Yan and the K-pop star Bang Chan of Stray Kids, Tan was the face of Prada.
Tan plans to attend Fendi’s coed fashion show during Milan Fashion Week next month when it will officially kick off its centenary celebrations.
Silvia Venturini Fendi, artistic director of accessories and menswear collections, is for now leading the overall design effort for men’s and women’s after the exit of British designer Kim Jones, who stepped down after four years as Fendi’s artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women.
