FBI: International Stars Issue Heartfelt Goodbyes After Cancellation, Cite ‘Challenging and Beautiful’ Series Run

Nearly two weeks after its cancellation, FBI: International cast members are bidding the CBS spinoff adieu.

“What. A. Wild Ride,” Vinessa Vidotto, who has played Special Agent Cameron Vo since the series premiered in September 2021, wrote on Instagram Friday night. “[Four] years. 10+ countries. Wow. Never did I think this would be my life. I’ve lived in Hungary longer than LA, like what!? If someone told me THAT, I wouldn’t believe it.”

“I’ve made lifelong friends with coworkers on set, fans, guest stars, and the locals,” she continued. “It’s been an honor to have lived in Hungary … Thank you for watching our show and being invested, I’ve met so many of y’all in the funniest places from the post office to being on a ferris wheel 🎡 🤣.”

She added that her time on the series has been “challenging and beautiful,” and “the best intense learning experience.”

Eva-Jane Willis, who joined the offshoot in Season 2 as Europol Agent Megan “Smitty” Garretson, also penned a farewell message on Friday. “There are no words,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “So many fantastic friendships on screen and off. So many countries. So many adventures. Loved every minute. Thank you to all the people who worked their asses off and made this possible. Legends all. ❤️ Love and prosperity to each and every one of you xx.”

Former cast member Heida Reid responded to the news by commenting three heart emojis on Willis’ post.

FBI: International was cancelled earlier this month, along with FBI: Most Wanted, and is currently airing its fourth season Tuesdays at 9/8c, where it leads out of the mothership.

In Season 4, the offshoot is averaging 6.53 million total viewers, down 10% from its Season 3 average. Out of the 14 drama series that CBS has aired this TV season, it ranks No. 8 (behind broadcast’s most-watched show Tracker, the freshman hit MatlockFBI, the cancelled but spinoff-bound Blue BloodsNCISElsbeth and the recently launched Watson).

#TheFBI franchise will live on with its new spinoff FBI: CIA, which will air its backdoor pilot as a springtime episode of FBI.
