Two Aussies are hitting the Victoria’s Secret catwalk

Over the weekend, you probably heard the news that Gigi Hadid is set to walk the runway at this year's Victoria's Secret show - but we can also confirm that two Aussie models have made the cut as well.

24-year old Shanina Shaik, who is a regular on the VS runway, confirmed her role in the show over social media, posting on Instagram, "I'm so incredibly happy & honored to announce that I have been chosen to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2015.

"Can not wipe the smile off my face."

Similarly, local girl Bridget Malcolm also made the cut, posting on Instagram, "Somebody pinch me! Today my dream came true. I will be walking in the Victoria's Secret fashion show this year!

While Shaik is a relatively well-known face in the fashion industry, the Victoria's Secret show will undoubtedly spring Malcolm onto a whole new level fame.

The two will join a host of well-known models, including Gigi Hadid, on December 8 at the London show.

Hadid, who was previously rejected from the VS runway, fell to her knees when she was told by Victoria's Secret bosses that she'd made the grade this year.

"Couldn't keep back my tears!!!! Anyone that grew up with me knows that getting this show has been a dream of mine forever! THANK YOU Victoria's Secret & Ed Razek! One of the happiest moments of my life. #vsfashionshow2015" the 20-year-old stunner wrote on Instagram.
