Blake Lively Has Designed An $860 Diaper Bag

While Blake Lively is known for her down-to-earth demeanour, she surprised fans this week by launching the world's most expensive baby bag*.

Named after her baby daughter, the 'James' is a hand-distressed, handcrafted leather and premium design worthy of swinging only from the arms of the A-list.

And at $860 US a pop (or, given the falling Australian dollar, about $1,225 AU), this is exactly the kind of bag you don't want to be putting your baby's diaper in.

But don't worry, Lively has thought about that - and this is actually a baby bag rather than a diaper bag you guys. We're just a little unsure about where you put your baby's nappies while you're out and about. But, who needs function when you have a bag that looks like this?

In other news, Lively says she hopes James picks up some of her interests when she's older.

"I would love for her to want to cook with me," the actress explained. "I'd love for her to want to bake with me but if she just wants to, like, you know, play with GI Joes and race cars, then I'm fine with that too. Whatever she wants, I'm happy about.

"I would love it if we shared those interests but I have a feeling I'm going to be fighting my husband (Ryan Reynolds) on interests because he just loves that little girl."
