"Pretty sure we have never met #caughtredhanded #HAHAHA," Cara said.

Immediately, followers of the funny-woman began questioning Cara's motives and gave her some serious stick for uploading the photo online.

"I feel so bad for the girl, I thought you were nice Cara," one poster said.

"Why did she have to call them out? She's embarrassing a fan. Her tone make sit sounds like she joking but actually is annoyed with them," another said.

Deciding to clear things up, Cara took to her Twitter account to explain herself.

"If you guys saw a person you had never met texting someone that they were hanging out with you, you would do the same thing?" she said.

"I am not trying to shame them, i just thought it was funny. That's all."
