Farmer Wants A Wife stars Matt Young and Olivia Benic surprised fans in August after revealing they had quietly welcomed a baby boy named Henry. The couple never announced they were expecting, simply choosing to post to Instagram once their little one was already here.

"286 days of carrying you, 8 hours of labour without pain relief, and what has felt like a lifetime of waiting…our little bubba entered our little family happy and healthy on Thursday," Olivia wrote on August 17. "Thank you to our close friends/family/baggy clothes (haha) for helping us to enjoy this wonderful experience privately and with so much unconditional support.

"We will not be active on social media for a little while, and will be taking our own time to settle into parenthood. We are so very happy and look forward to sharing more when we are ready."

Farmer Wants A Wife fan favourites spill on wedding plans

The couple, who are celebrating three years together this month, spoke to Woman's Day about their baby boy, revealing why they kept him a secret.

"After being on Farmer, we realised we wanted to keep some things private. We just wanted to keep this pregnancy for us," Olivia said. "We told our close circle when we were about 15 weeks and no-one said anything. No-one dobbed us in [laughs]."

Matt also told the publication that a wedding is "absolutely" on the cards, with Olivia adding, "We had bub first, so once we figure that out, we’ll do the next thing."

The pair also hopes to extend their family, with Olivia saying, "When he first came along, I said, 'Oh my God, I’m never having another kid,' because it’s such a life change, but once you get settled, it’s easier to imagine having more kids. I don’t know how many we’ll have, but we’ll want to make sure Henry has some siblings around."
