Farmer Wants A Wife rocked by shock 'pregnancy scare': 'Huge twist'

The Farmer Wants A Wife set was reportedly rocked by a 'pregnancy scare' during the filming of this year's season after one of the ladies and one of the farmers got intimate behind the scenes.

The alleged pregnancy will no doubt come as a bit of a shock to fans of the wholesome dating show – it's something we'd expect from Married At First Sight, not Farmer Wants A Wife!

New Idea reports that one of the couples was intimate during production, with the lady believing she'd fallen pregnant. However, it's unknown what the result of the pregnancy test was as the publication reports "they have since gone silent".

"It would be a huge twist if they are though," an insider reveals. "These sorts of things typically happen after the show ends, but not during production!"

Of course, we'll take this with a grain of salt until anything is confirmed, but it would be huge if true, and while this year's farmers have shared their want for a family, we don't think they meant this soon!

Farmer Wants A Wife star welcomes baby after fling with another farmer

It comes after Hayley Love famously fell pregnant to Farmer Will Dwyer during the 2021 season, after she was matched with Farmer Matt Trewin.

Hayley and Matt didn't hit it off, and she ended up having a short fling with Will, which ended when she was around six weeks pregnant.

She went on to give birth to her daughter Daisy in December 2021, naming Will as the father.
