Yahoo Lifestyle Fans Want to Know: Is 'Trisha's Southern Kitchen' Coming Back to Food Network?
In its 10 years on the air, Trisha Yearwood's cooking show, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, remained one of Food Network's most beloved shows. From a Thanksgiving feast to baby shower bites to plenty of old family recipes, Trisha made it all as loyal fans followed along.
Although she is most well known for her music, Trisha's Southern Kitchen became a hallmark of Trisha's personal brand through the years. Now it's been over two years since the last episode of season 17 aired, and fans are wondering if she ever plans to return to the kitchen for another season.
In an interview with Country Living in March 2024, Trisha hinted that her cooking show days aren't over yet. She revealed that she "will probably end up filming a cooking show" in the third floor kitchen of husband Garth Brooks's new Broadway bar, Friends in Low Places. Trisha created the entire southern-style bar menu for the Broadway honky-tonk and even shared one of her recipes with Good Morning America from inside the bar's kitchen.
While this comment give us hope for more Trisha cooking content to come, there has been no definitive plan announced about the future of Trisha's Southern Kitchen nor a new cooking show starring Trisha. Of course, the show could never be the same now as Trisha sold the Brentwood home where she hosted Trisha's Southern Kitchen for 11 season in 2023.
Fans bombard the "How Do I Live" singer with questions about her future culinary endeavors every chance they get. On Instagram fans write: "New episodes coming??? 🙏🏼" and "When are you coming back to @foodnetwork?"
"No longer doing your cooking show? 😢," one fan asked. "no it ended over 2 years ago," and "I miss her cooking show," others replied.
While it doesn't seem like Trisha's Southern Kitchen will make its comeback any time soon, rest assured that Trisha's cooking show days are far from over. We can't wait to be back in the kitchen with Trisha!
