Montana Jordan is now a proud parent!

The Young Sheldon star shared the exciting news with his fans in a Tues., May 21 Instagram post. Earlier that day, Jordan and his girlfriend, Jenna Weeks, welcomed their baby into the world.

In the photo, the 21-year-old sat in a chair with one jeans-clad leg crossed over the other at his knee. His new baby was wrapped in a blanket and nestled in his arms, a large pink bow attached to the small hat she wore on her head. Jordan looked directly into the camera and gave it a sweet smile.

“God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl,” Jordan’s Instagram caption said. “Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”

Several of the people with whom Jordan starred in the hit CBS sitcom left comments on his post as they celebrated his major family news.

“I can’t wait to meet her!!” Iain Armitage, who played the show’s title character, wrote. Armitage’s comment continued with a reference to the onscreen sibling relationship he shared with Jordan, who played Sheldon’s older brother, George “Georgie” Cooper. “I’ve always wanted to be an uncle!! So happy for you!! Congratulations ❤️.”

Raegan Revord, who played Jordan’s character’s younger sister, also expressed her excitement about his daughter’s birth. "So so happy for you and Jenna and can’t wait to meet my niece! 💕💕,” she wrote.

“Congratulations @montanajordan so happy for you and @jennacweeks Welcome to world Emma Rae!! ❤️❤️❤️,” Melissa Peterman, who played Brenda Sparks on the show, wrote. Fellow Young Sheldon actors Rachel Bay Jones and Ryan Phuong also congratulated Jordan in comments left on his post, as did the show’s official Instagram account.

Jordan’s exciting announcement came just days after the Young Sheldon series finale aired. The show concluded its seven-season run on Thurs., May 16.
