Fans Are Convinced That Taylor Has a Lucky Black Skirt—Here’s Why

To quote Michael Scott: I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious. And that’s why I’m kiiiinda on board with the fan theory about Taylor Swift’s “lucky” Chiefs playoffs skirt.

In case you haven’t yet been on the internet today: Swifties were quick to point out that the pleated black skirt she wore to the 2025 AFC Championship game on Sunday evening looked VERY similar to the skirt she donned for the 2024 AFC Championship game...and both games ended with her boyfriend’s team heading to the Super Bowl. Coincidence? Perhaps. But I think not!

For the record: Fans haven’t been able to ID the skirt(s) because you can only really see the hem on both ’fits, but we’re talking about the queen of Easter eggs here, so I wouldn’t put it past her to wear the same skirt for back-to-back AFC Championship games.
