Eye-watering cost of Kyle Sandilands' honeymoon revealed

Kyle Sandilands recently made headlines for his $1 million wedding to his wife Tegan, and the radio host is making sure their honeymoon will be just as extravagant.

An insider has revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle that the shock jock is spending around $500,000 on the three-week jaunt to St Tropez in the South of France, splashing out on luxury chateaus, private jets and famous chefs.

Kyle, Tegan, their 10-month-old son Otto, Kyle’s manager Bruno Bouchet and the couple’s nanny were all pictured arriving at Sydney Airport on Friday night and checking in at Emirates First Class Platinum desk – which will cost approximately $100,000 for the group’s return flights.

The group was also joined by Kyle’s co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, her daughter Kitty, newsreader Brooklyn Ross and show producer Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Blazquez, as The Kyle & Jackie O Show will be broadcasting from St Tropez all of next week.

The radio host also revealed on the show this week that when they land in Paris, they will be catching a private jet to take them to St Tropez, which will cost an estimated $30,000 each way.

Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph reports that they’ll be staying in an $8,200-a-night chateau for the next three weeks, totalling a whopping $172,000 just for accommodation.

Discussing the trip on-air in recent weeks, Kyle explained that he’d had a personal stylist buy him a new wardrobe and that he’s booked out France’s most exclusive beach clubs and finest restaurants.

Kyle and Jackie O listeners shared their excitement for the team on Instagram, with many wishing them a safe journey.

"I'm so jealous," one user wrote, while another added, "Bon voyage!"

Jackie joked on-air that she invited herself along for Kyle's honeymoon, "I'm coming on his honeymoon. Why not? I have never been to the south of France before."
