An Eye-Opening Journey Leads to a Tense and Messy Vote on 'Survivor 47'

The players of Survivor 47 have officially reached the end of their in-game week. The days of exchanging pleasantries and tribe "kumbaya" have gone firmly out the window. Indeed, in this week's episode, rivalries have began to emerge on all three tribes, as people are continuing to size up who they don't want to move forward with. A journey caused even more cross-tribal mess, with big secrets revealed. And it culminated in yet another big vote, as a back-and-forth decision led to a surprisingly scattered vote

Who got voted off on Survivor 47 tonight?

Aysha Welch

While Jon Lovett is the biggest name to grace the beaches of Survivor 47, Aysha Welch was the one to experience the first celebrity moment. That comes courtesy of Teeny Chirichillo, who formed a quick connection with Aysha as a fan of her reality TV podcasting. It was a welcome way to end an otherwise-rough Day 1 for the IT consultant, which featured her going off on a journey and losing out on camp supplies. Fortunately, as the days went on, Aysha was making better inroads socially, thanks to Rome Cooney continuing to aggravate the tribe with his actions. Unfortunately, Rome had an ever-increasing pool of advantages, including Lavo's idol. As a result, the tribe felt drawn to work with him, targeting the duo of Aysha and Sol Yi. When Aysha was brought in on the plan to boot Sol, she pushed back, raising eyebrows from the others. And so, feeling Aysha was uncooperative, they voted her out, prompting a reaction equal parts furious and defeated.

Were any advantages found or played on the Survivor 47 tonight?

Yes! Anika, Kyle, and Rome went on a journey this episode, tested with risking their vote for a random draw. Rome was the only person to earn an advantage, getting the Vote Steal. Anika and Kyle both lost their vote for their next respective Tribal Councils. Rome also played the idol he found in the previous episode in this week's vote.
