Ex MAFS star Tracey Jewel defends Lauren's 'threesome' comment
After revealing she’s previously dated women, Married At First Sight’s Lauren Huntriss dropped another bombshell on TV husband Matthew last night, as she shared her interest in “swinging” and “threesomes”.
Since then, Lauren has faced a wave of backlash for not telling Matt about her sexual past from the get go, while other viewers have ben supportive of the reality star’s admission.
Former MAFS star Tracey Jewel, who has previously spoken about her own experience having a threesome with women, says Lauren’s sexual past should not be a major issue.
“I don’t see the big deal of Lauren being with girls we all do experimental things in our early days,” the 2017 MAFS star tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
Tracey does say however that she would’ve approached the conversation differently in terms of timing.
“Given the fact Matt was a virgin, if it was me I would have disclosed this prior to sleeping with him from a values point of view,” she explains, before still lending support to Lauren and adding, “But no one deserves so much backlash”.
During last night’s episode of MAFS, Lauren expressed her desire for TV husband Matthew to be more “dominant” in the bedroom.
It was a big request for Matt, who had been a virgin up until the pair’s recent honeymoon.

“How would you feel if I was like into swinging, threesomes?” Lauren asked Matt.
“I’m a very sexually open person,” she continued. “I worry it might be a bit too much for you.”
“It’s certainly a lot to take in,” he admitted.
A day earlier Lauren had admitted she’d dated women in the past, and some fans on Twitter were unhappy with the way Lauren expressed her sexual history as she used the words, “I used to be a lesbian”.
Married At First Sight continues at 7:30pm on Channel Nine.
