Every Celeb Photobombed Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at the 2025 Golden Globes

Just days after making headlines for kissing Nicole Kidman’s hand at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards, Ariana Grande was back in fangirl mode as she stepped out at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5 with Wicked bestie Cynthia Erivo. The inseparable co-stars channeled their characters’ “Popular” aspirations by “hanging with the right cohorts,” a,k.a. almost every single star at Sunday night’s awards show. The footage of Grande and Erivo mingling and socializing with everyone from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to Kate Winslet is going viral.

It was a big night for both stars, as Erivo was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category for her role as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, while Grande got recognized for her turn as Glinda in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role category. However, the co-stars looked like they weren’t letting the nerves get to them as they chatted up a storm with fellow A-listers and cemented themselves as the social darlings of the evening.

The antics started on the red carpet, with Grande hugging fellow former Disney alum Miley Cyrus—who was nominated for “Best Original Song” for her track “Beautiful That Way,” from The Last Showgirl—as they posed for pictures and chatted with Sarah Paulson.

The multi-hyphenate also hung out with Wicked co-star Cesily Collette Taylor, who played a young Nessarose in the film, on the red carpet before they headed in to the awards show.

The "Thank U, Next" singer couldn't resist stopping to talk Harrison Ford's ear off.

Grande and Erivo also stopped to meet and chat with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson and were seemingly deep in conversation before everyone took their seats.

The star power didn't stop there, as Grande then unexpectedly ran into Kate Winslet and they had a mutual fangirl moment.

The Titanic alum then stopped to grab a sweet photo with Grande and Erivo at their table, hilariously crouching down in her white suit for the casual shot.

Grande revealed that she's just as much a fan of The Bear as everyone else, excitedly standing up to hug Ayo Edebiri as the Golden Globe nominee walked towards their table.

Despite all their star interactions, Ari and Cynthia still made time for some meme-worthy BFF moments just between themselves, including hilariously recreating their "holding space" fingernail hold.

Considering it's just the start of awards season, it looks like fans can look forward to many more mingling moments over the next few months.
