Erin Molan walked off radio show after 'humiliating' fight with Hughesy: 'Horrific'
Erin revealed that the fight was "very humiliating".
Erin Molan and Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes have revealed they had a 'horrific' fight last year that caused Erin to leave partway through their radio show, 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin.
Speaking on the show on Tuesday, Erin and Hughesy decided to bring up the moment, which she described as "humiliating".
"I gave you some tough love at the end of last year, didn't I, Erin?" Hughesy asked his co-host, who replied, "Yes, it was horrific, I sobbed like a a baby."
Hughesy explained that it was the last show of the year, saying, "Imagine the last day of the year, where you're all happy because you're about to go on holiday, and we were all – I can't whistle, but we're all in a real good mood."
"No one was whistling or in a good mood, that's such an exaggeration," Erin hit back.
"No, they were before you came, they were," Hughesy said. "Well, we're revisiting! You wanted to revisit it!"

In an awkward moment, Erin revealed that she personally didn't want to revisit it, but had told him that if he wanted to they could.
"I was, yes, I was down, look it was a tough year, OK? It was a very – last year was a tough year, do you want me to bring it up? My dad died, OK? It was a tough year, I know your mum died too," Erin said.
"Yeah, my mum died as well, my mum died closer to the end of the year than your dad died," Hughesy said as the pair laughed. "Your dad died at the start of the year, my mum died at the end of the year."
"Well, some people deal differently," she said. "Yes, I came in and I was not over the top, bubbly happy, I was definitely a bit negative. Yeah, I wasn't in a good place. And during an ad break, it was early on, you were very – you just lost it. You'd lost it with me, I think is a fair way to say it?
"I didn't quite like the method, but it was very tough love, you screamed at me to see a psychologist, which I've been doing, and that was really mean, but I also was able to walk away from it and go okay, I actually have a responsibility when I come in in the morning even if I don't feel great to not bring everyone else down."
She added that she "thought a lot about it" over the holidays because she was "quite upset by it", adding that Hughesy probably was as well.
Erin shared that Hughesy sent her a message about something else unrelated to help soothe the tension, but she added that he never apologised.

"But I wasn't sorry, honestly I wasn't," he said. "I was happy that it happened, honestly, and you have been so much better, like you've been really good, like as in, focused."
Erin said that while the conversation was "tough" and she felt like she probably needed to have that chat, she didn't like the way he went about it.
"I think the way in which it was done in front of everyone was probably – I would have preferred it to have been done differently. If we're being completely honest," she said, with Hughesy pointing out it was "only a couple of people".
"But it was very humiliating," Erin responded.
The hosts were able to laugh about the moment in hindsight, with Erin finishing by saying, "I'm mature enough to acknowledge there was some merit in what you were saying, absolutely. But your methods sucked balls!"
"See, that's tough feedback for me!" Hughesy responded.
