Emma Roberts Announced Her Engagement To Cody John With An IG Caption That Has To Be Seen

Sounds like wedding bells are in the future for Emma Roberts and Cody John.

Emma herself broke the news on Instagram alongside an engagement selfie that, judging by the camera's positioning, Cody definitely took.

She also took the opportunity to flash some engagement bling. Here's a closer look at the ring:

The engagement news is obviously the big thing here, but so is Emma's caption: "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone ❤️."

The caption is a reference to Emma's mother inadvertently revealing news about her private life on multiple occasions in the past. Last year, she posted a photo of Emma's child Rhodes's face despite Emma making it a point not to do so on social media.
