Emily Ratajkowski's Tush-Forward Dress Was Completely See-Through at the 2024 Met Gala

Backless, boob-and-butt-baring—oh my!

No Met Gala would be complete without Emily Ratajkowski in a naked dress. And this year, she took her nakedness to the next level with a gown so sheer, it's in a category all of its own.   

For fashion's biggest night, the undisputed queen of naked fashion hit the red carpet in a completely see-through dress from Versace's 2001 fall-winter collection that got sheerer as your eye moved from the bodice to the skirt. Featuring a high neckline and long sleeves, EmRata's crystal-encrusted gown was beaded in a gorgeous petal pattern—and not only exposed her bare chest underneath but also her butt from behind. She paired the backless gown with strappy stilettos, sparkly fringed gold earrings from Chopard, and a smattering of diamond cocktail rings. 

Her glam included a nude lip, glowing skin, and a smoky eye that was accentuated by a spiky bun with face-framing pieces.

At last year's Met Gala, Ratajkowski didn't wear a naked dress per-se, but she did opt for a nude-colored gown that featured a plunging neckline, side cutouts, and a transparent chiffon skirt. Following the event, she changed into a proper naked dress for the after-party she co-hosted in Manhattan's Financial District, wearing a sheer black dress with a chain belt with her nickname, “Emrata,” spelled out with charms.
