Emily Ratajkowski accuses Robin Thicke of 'cupping her breasts' on Blurred Lines set

Emily Ratajkowski has claimed Robin Thicke groped her bare breasts while filming his 2013 music video for 'Blurred Lines'.

An excerpt from Emily's new book My Body sees the 30-year-old supermodel accuse the 44-year-old singer of being drunk and allegedly "cupping her bare breasts" while on set, the Sunday Times of London first reported.

At the time, the model was naked from the waist up for the controversial video which catapulted both her and Robin's careers eight years ago.

"Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind. I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke," Emily wrote.

"He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set. [The director, Diane Martel’s] voice cracked as she yelled out to me, ‘Are you okay?'

"I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body. I didn’t react – not really, not like I should have."

Speaking to the Sunday Times of London, Director Diane Martel confirmed she witnessed the whole thing and immediately wrapped the shoot.

"I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts," she told the publication.

"One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile. I screamed in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice, ‘What the f*** are you doing, that’s it!! The shoot is over!!’"

Diane also claimed Robin apologised, adding she didn't think he would have done it "had he been sober".

Continuing in her book, the supermodel says she didn't speak out in the moment because she felt "desperate to minimise" what happened.

Emily previously confessed she didn't actually like the idea of the project - which was later accused of 'promoting rape culture' - when first approached. But it was music director Diane - who has also worked with Miley Cyrus - who convinced the star.

"We just connected personally, she's smart, she's really culturally sensitive, and she talked to me about her ideas and how the women would be in the video," Emily said.

The shoot was filmed with an all-female team where the only men allowed were the performers, but Diane lamented that the R&B singer's actions undermined the feeling of female empowerment she had hoped to create on the set.

This is the first time Emily has spoken out about the alleged groping incident, but has previously described the Blurred Lines video as "the bane of my existence".

Neither Robin Thicke or Emily Ratajkowski's representatives have made any further comment at the time of publishing.
