Elon Musk slams J.Lo for not warning people about Diddy
NEW YORK — Elon Musk is pointing the finger at Jennifer Lopez for not sounding the alarm against ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s currently locked up at Brooklyn MDC on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
The controversial billionaire, 53, pulled no punches when he mentioned the 55-year-old Bronx-born pop star during a Monday interview on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
“J.Lo was like his ex-girlfriend and [now] she’s like warning people against Trump. How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh zero, OK,” said the Tesla and SpaceX founder. “Maybe we shouldn’t trust her.”
Lopez last Thursday addressed the crowd at a Las Vegas rally for Vice President Kamala Harris, during which she slammed the jokes made about Puerto Rico at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally four days earlier.
Rogan seemingly echoed Musk’s sentiments, saying “it’s peculiar” that many of the celebrities supporting Harris’ bid for the White House are known to have “frequented” Diddy’s famous parties.
“People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was like abusing, you know, kids basically, and yet they still fed him kids,” Musk said in response.
Combs, 55, was taken into federal custody in mid-September, amid mounting lawsuits accusing him of offenses including sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and drugging. Multiple Diddy accusers say they were minors at the time of the alleged crimes, many of which date back decades.
Lopez and Combs were together from 1999 to 2001, during which time one anonymous accuser says she was drugged and raped by Diddy and a second celebrity. The Jane Doe claims she was 13 when the alleged assault took place in 2000.
While together in late 1999, Lopez and Diddy were involved in a shooting at a New York City nightclub that left three wounded. The musicians fled the scene and, along with Combs’ bodyguard, were arrested and charged for their involvement, though the charges against “Jenny from the Block” were ultimately dropped.
Despite victim Natania Reuben remaining adamant she was shot by Combs, he and his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, were acquitted of gun possession charges. Former Bad Boy rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, who was 21 at the time, served a decade in prison.
On the heels of Combs’ arrest, Shyne said Diddy “destroyed” his life when the hip-hop mogul “pretty much sent me to prison.”
Lopez has not publicly addressed any of the allegations against Combs. According to multiple outlets, she has even dodged direct questions about her ex during recent sightings, similar to many other famous faces linked to Combs who have remained mum following his arrest.
