Elliot Must Deal with His Father's Hate for the Landrys on the Next Episode of 'The Way Home'

Ponderers, are you enjoying the new season of The Way Home? As a new mystery unfolds, we learn more about the Courtship of teens Del (Julia Tomasone) and Colton (Jordan Doww) as both Kat (Chyler Leigh) and her daughter, Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) head back to the 70s!

In "The Way We Were," last week's episode of The Way Home, the Landry family is reunited after Jacob’s return but everyone is working to find their footing as they acclimate to a new normal. Meanwhile, Alice was pushed into the pond and taken back to 1974, where she is immediately befriended by a spritely Teen Evelyn (Devin Cecchetto) and meets Teen Colton (Jordan Doww) and Teen Del (Julia Tomasone). She also gets the opportunity to meet a young Vic Augustine (Grayson Gallanders), who is Elliot's father, and Vic's older brother, Rick (Mark Ballantyne). As she gets a front seat to the start of her grandparents’ epic love story, Kat is in the present time and comes to a realization that her biggest challenges and possibly her greatest adventure is waiting for her at home. Once she gets a frantic message from Alice, she heads to the pond and jumps in to find her daughter.

Elliot must trust his gut when his father, Vic (James Gallanders) shows up for an unwanted visit and Del learns the truth of why Jacob returned to the present day.

Fun fact: Grayson Gallanders, the actor who plays young Vic in this episode, is the son of James Gallanders, who plays adult Vic in the series!

In "Live and Let Die," this week's episode of The Way Home, Alice and Kat get a lesson in asking the right questions, Del rails against changes to the family dynamic, and Elliot tries to understand his father.

Any guesses who pushed Alice into the pond? We did hear a feminine giggle when Alice surfaces so might it be a teen Evelyn or someone else entirely. Do you think Colton (Jefferson Brown) is from Elijah's time and somehow escaped to the future and stayed?
