Elle Fanning Had a 'Good Time' Sitting Next to Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes: 'Lots of Selfies Were Taken'

Elle Fanning enjoyed her time bonding with Kylie Jenner at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards!

When Fanning, 26, spoke with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the National Board of Review gala on Tuesday, Jan. 7, the actress laughed when asked about her high-profile Golden Globes table; Jenner, 27, joined the cast of A Complete Unknown as she accompanied her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet to the awards show.

"It was fun. We had a good time, I will say that," Fanning said with a laugh, in a video ET shared to its Instagram. "Lots of selfies were taken, as you can see."

Fanning, Jenner and A Complete Unknown's Monica Barbaro were photographed taking selfies together on at least one occasion throughout the night; Jenner herself shared one such selfie within her Jan. 7 Instagram post recapping the event.

Both Elle and her older sister Dakota Fanning attended the 82nd annual Globes. Dakota, 30, was nominated for her role in Netflix's Ripley series, but Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning took home the television award for best performance by a female actor in a supporting role. The sister duo even got to spend time with their grandmother at the awards show, as Dakota brought their "Gaba" as her date.

"Our Gaba, the winner of the evening!" Elle wrote in a Tuesday, Jan. 7 Instagram post that featured a photo of her, Dakota and the pair's grandmother. "Could not be more beautiful!"

In another post shared the same day, Elle — who portrays Bob Dylan's onetime girlfriend Sylvie Russo in A Complete Unknown — showed off the gown she wore to the years' first major awards ceremony.

"The most magical night at the @goldenglobes with my beautiful sister and gorgeous Gaba!" Elle wrote in that caption. "Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain ! I was swooshing around all night, floating on a cloud! And what better to pair sequined leaopard with than classic @cartier panther 🐆😻🐆😻🐆😻🐆,"

Elle's trip to the Globes came just days after she rang in the new year with her boyfriend Gus Wenner on a ski trip that she shared photos and videos from to social media on Jan. 1. 

The post included snaps and footage of her and her Rolling Stone CEO beau on the slopes, as well as a couple of shots of them embracing and another of the couple sharing a kiss to mark the end of 2024. "⛷️ing into 2025," she wrote in that caption.
