The Elizabeth scene we didn't see on MAFS

There’s been plenty of mystery surrounding Elizabeth’s absence during the dinner party in last night’s episode of Married At First Sight.

But this extra scene from the Channel Nine show that didn’t make it to air could have some clues about why she didn’t join husband Sam.

The clip which aired on Talking Married on Wednesday shows a frustrated Elizabeth speaking to Heidi after Sam has been battling with chicken pox.

A shirtless Sam is seen applying calamine lotion to his body, as he says, “I’ve got a bit of an infection I think”.

Sam, do you give [Elizabeth] big cuddles?” Heidi asks him, to which he responds, “Occasionally, yeah. Probably not enough”.

He decides to leave the ladies alone to chat away, and that’s when a glum Elizabeth comes out with how she’s feeling.

He’s allergic to me,” she sulks.

When the rest of the contestants ask where Elizabeth is, he’s just as clueless as he’d suspected she’d already be at the dinner table.

The couple have already had some ups and downs throughout their relationship, with Sam leaving before their honeymoon to attend his ex’s mother’s funeral overseas.

Elizabeth took issue with Sam not contacting her while away, and their ‘Yes week’ challenge got off to a bad start when Liz locked Sam in the apartment.

What’s more, Sam and Ines seem to be pursuing their own romance on the side, and if you ask us, this is only going to mean more drama and trouble.
