“Molly ‘cause we like it. Matilda for Neil’s Great Grandmother. Christie was my Grandmother’s maiden name and my middle name too.”
The 36-year-old, went on to say they are both “elated” and “exhausted” and admitted that her husband, Neil, is “still in shock”.
Edwina also shared two black and white photos to her Instagram Stories of herself cradling her precious newborn.
“PS that really hurt. Lucky you are cute,” she wrote on one photo.
The presenter was impatiently awaiting the arrival of the third member of her family after revealing she was overdue to fans last week with an Instagram post.
“9 months and three days,” the very pregnant host wrote alongside a selfie of her and the bump while moving house.
Edwina went on maternity leave early from her gig on Sunrise in November, sharing her well wishes to fans, and confirming she will be back in 2020.
The TV presenter, who married in April last year, revealed the happy news on Sunrise in April, saying she’s due at the end of the year.
The reporter made the surprise announcement during a live segment on the show, leaving co-host David Koch flabbergasted and visibly moved by the announcement.
