Edward Enninful Launches Global Media & Entertainment Company EE72

Former British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful is opening the doors to a new global media and entertainment company, EE72.

Through strategic partnerships with visionary creators and groundbreaking companies, EE72 will develop and produce transformational content, immersive experiences and innovative products that challenge audiences to see the world through new eyes, while answering the call for authentic representation and storytelling.

“EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I’ve built my career on,” says Enninful. “We’re creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don’t just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities.”

EE72 will be led by Akua Enninful as co-founder and CEO, alongside Edward Enninful as co-founder and Chief Creative Officer.

Enninful began his career as fashion director of i-D magazine at age 18, he went on to become the first Black editor-in-chief of British Vogue and European editorial director of Vogue. Under his leadership, British Vogue experienced growth across both digital and print platforms. Enninful’s work earned him an OBE for services to diversity in the fashion industry, and his creative vision has influenced collaborations with the world’s leading photographers, artists, and cultural figures. Known for placing diversity of perspective at the core of his work, Enninful has consistently broken new ground in storytelling and representation in contemporary media and entertainment. Most recently, he served as global creative and cultural advisor of Vogue.
