Eddie Hassell, ‘The Kids Are All Right’ actor, dead at 30

Actor Eddie Hassell has died at the age of 30 after reportedly being shot in Texas in a suspected carjacking.

According to Variety, Eddie, who was best known for his roles in The Kids Are Alright and Surface, was shot on Sunday morning

His manager reportedly told the publication his death is being investigated by police.

Eddie, who was born in 1990, moved to LA when he was just 11 to pursue an acting career.

He landed numerous roles, including in Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and famously as Clay on The Kids Are All Right, alongside Julianne Moore and Annette Bening.

Eddie also appeared in the 2013 Steve Jobs biopic Jobs as Chris Espinosa and played Jackson in Family Weekend with Kristin Chenoweth and Joey King.

Speaking with Elle magazine in 2013 after working with Ashton Kutcher on Jobs, Eddie talked about his dream role, revealing it would be “being in a Tim Burton film or a horror film, or a vampire. I've always been into Halloween”.

Hi most recent acting credit online is as a waiter in Oh Lucy, a 2017 American-Japanese drama.
