Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Celebrate Christmas with Daughter Kaavia in New York: 'East Coast Edition'

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are spending some time with their family this Christmas.

On Wednesday, Dec. 25, the former NBA star, 42, and his actress wife, 52, celebrated the holiday alongside their daughter Kaavia, 6, sharing cute snaps and clips from their holiday trip to North Fork, N.Y., on Instagram.

In their joint post, the trio can be seen participating in a group photo shoot on the beach, attempting to sing Christmas songs around the breakfast table and gathering by the Christmas tree to open up presents.

"A Wade Family Christmas East Coast Edition Before Kaavia Goes Solo 😂 🌊 ❄️ 🌲" the proud parents captioned the post, comically referring to Kaavia's annoyance at her mom and dad for not knowing the lyrics to "The 12 Days of Christmas."

Wade is also dad to daughter Zaya, 17, and son Zaire, 22, whom he shares with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, and son Xavier, 11, with Aja Metoyer.

Last month, Union, Wade and Kaavia shared a joint Instagram post showing off Kaavia's extravagant Barbie-themed party for her 6th birthday. To start the post, the birthday girl can be seen lying in the middle of the dance floor, which is covered in a giant Barbie logo converted to show Kaavia's side profile and her name in the doll's iconic pink letters.

"Somebody tell Barbie it’s Kaavia’s World! 😝 💞🌷 @mattel," the family joked in the caption.

Another sweet snap shows Wade and Union standing in giant Ken and Barbie cardboard boxes, while Kaavia stands smiling in between them in a light pink gown and slicked top knot.

Inside the all-pink celebration, tables surrounded the dance floor with a large beverage stand ready for action. "Kaavia's Signature Drinks," the sign read in the same Barbie font, featuring kid-friendly options including the "Kaav-tini" (pink lemonade over ice) and the "Kaavmopolitan" (strawberry kiwi Snapple).

Another adorable family photo shows Wade picking up his daughter so she can blow out her pink candles atop her logo-adorned birthday cake. Union also can be seen clapping beside them.

All three of Kaavia's siblings were in attendance, and the full family of six smiled for a photo on the party's pink carpet.

In the rare family shot, Kaavia showed off an outfit change, rocking a hot pink, high-low dress and face paint on her forehead.
