The "Blink Twice" director confessed that directing a reboot would be a "my dream."

Ring, ring! A Charlie’s Angels reboot may be officially on the horizon.

While visiting The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, Blink Twice director Zoe Kravitz expressed her love for the film series — which starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu — and her dream to direct a potential revival.

“Can I just say? I don’t know what the plan is, but if there’s a Charlie’s Angels reboot, that would be my dream to direct,” Kravitz confessed. “Like, my dream. Those are my favorite movies — to the point where I’ve called my agent about this.”

But in a truly wild twist of fate, a thoroughly surprised Barrymore had some of her own news to share, too.

“It’s really funny that you say that, because I called my agent too and was like, ‘Would Zoe ever consider…’” she began. To which an excited Kravitz responded, “Shut up. Shut up! Shut up!”

“I’m not kidding!” Barrymore shouted. “Because Charlie’s Angels is all about mixing tones! Let’s go!”

The pair pulled each other into an excited hug before reiterating to one another that they really had reached out to their respective agents about the opportunity.

“I can’t believe you’re saying this,” Barrymore said. Kravitz replied, “I can’t believe we just made a deal on television!”

Turning to the crowd, the Batman actress teased, “Okay, well! Charlie’s Angels!

Based on the television series of the same name, Charlie’s Angels followed three elite private investigators (Barrymore, Diaz, and Liu) who are assigned to a dangerous mission by their mysterious millionaire boss, Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe). The trio also starred in a 2001 sequel, Charlie’s Angel: Full Throttle. A reboot of the series — starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska — was later released in 2019.

Barrymore has been open about her interest in a third Charlie’s Angels film over the years, revealing on her podcast that she’d “always say yes" to the opportunity to reprise her role as Dylan Sanders. She has also recruited her fellow Angels onto her show over the years, including during its season 1 premiere.
