Yellowstone is back for its final episodes, and viewers all over the world cannot contain their excitement (and shock!). Women, in particular, love seeing their favorite ranchers once again gracing their screens. Among them? Drew Barrymore, a self-proclaimed Rip Wheeler fan.
On a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew was joined onstage by none other than Cole Hauser. During the segment, she excitedly showed him her Yellowstone Monopoly game, featuring taped edges due to so much use. “This is the most important thing I own,” she marveled. “It’s been taped shut, it’s traveled with us—it’s the best Monopoly ever, I’m just saying.”
Cole, laughing, admitted that it was “pretty trippy” to see himself on the box of such a classic board game. “Bit of a wild experience the last seven years,” he reflected.
Meanwhile, Drew, like all of us, admitted that she’s been antsy to see the final season—to the extent that she tried to get an early screener of the new episodes to no avail. “Just so you know, we’re at the same parent company and I could not get a screener,” she revealed. “They have this thing on lockdown—it’s like Fort Knox.”
As the conversation continued, Drew became visibly more excited before descending into full fangirldom. “You know, I have a Rip T-shirt, too—like, I have you on a T-shirt,” she told Cole. “What does it say on the T-shirt, though,” he asked.
When Drew told him it simply said Yellowstone, he countered, “It doesn’t say ‘Every girl needs a little Rip in their jeans?’”
“That’s right,” Drew exclaimed through laughter with the audience echoing her delight.
When The Drew Barrymore Show posted the clip to Instagram, the fan reaction was much the same.
“Whenever I see this man I can’t help but smile—he’s just so durrrrn cute,” one fan commented. “I've been obsessed with Cole since the ‘90s,” another fan commented. “RIP! The man of all men,” someone else exclaimed. “[Cole Hauser] is just perfect as Rip. Will be so sad when the show ends, but I cannot wait for this weekend,” another fan wrote.
Moral of the story? Everyone loves Rip and is eager to see how his storyline wraps up. Tune in to Paramount Network on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET to catch your favorite moody rancher and the rest of the Yellowstone cast.
