Dorit Kemsley Says Son Jagger 'Had a Setback This Week' After Recently Being Hospitalized

The 'RHOBH' star also shared a look at her family's Halloween costume inspired by 'The Flintstones'

Dorit Kemsley is sharing an update on her son Jagger after revealing that he was hospitalized in mid-October.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) star, 48, shared in an update on Instagram showing off the family’s Halloween costumes that Jagger, 10, powered through a “setback” earlier this week to celebrate the spooky holiday.

She shared photos of herself, estranged husband Paul "PK" Kemsley and their two kids dressed up as The Flintstones. Dorit and Paul dressed up as Wilma and Fred Flintstone, respectively, while their son Jagger and daughter Phoenix, 8, were dressed up as Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm.

The family of four could be seen posing together in their orange leopard print costumes with blue accents against a themed backdrop. The photo collage was set to the theme song of the iconic cartoon.

“The past month has been very difficult for our family,” Dorit wrote in her caption. “Jagger had 2 surgeries in under a week for septic hip, had to stay in the hospital nearly 2 weeks, and just when we thought it was all over, we had a set back this week.”

"Luckily, this incredibly brave, courageous little boy is a fighter(like Rocky, as he would say 💪🏼☺️) and we were able to enjoy Halloween like he desperately wanted to,” she continued. “That made this Halloween extra special for all of us. 🙏🏼🎃.”

She went on to thank the “doctors and nurses” at Providence-Cedars Mount Sinai hospital, where her son received treatment, and thanked fans for their support.

“I’m in awe and so proud of our little munchkin, his strength, positive mindset and can do attitude he’s maintained through everything he’s been through. Feeling blessed and hopeful that better days lay ahead,” she concluded. “Yabadaba dooo from the Flintstones! ☀️🤍”

The RHOBH star shared in an Tuesday, Oct. 15, Instagram post that Jagger “has been unwell for the last few weeks,” alongside a closeup photo of the pre-teen in what appeared to be the hospital.

"We wanted to publicly thank them and the Drs and Nurses … we are still here but he’s 🙏on the mend … he’s our Rocky … image was caught of him yawning … but I love the shot," she wrote at the time,

Jagger's health scare comes a few months after Dorit and Paul announced their separation in May with a joint statement posted to their respective Instagram Stories, saying that they “made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship” in order to “safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children.”

“We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey," the statement concluded. "With love, Dorit and PK.”
