When does 'Virgin River' come out? Season 6 release date, time, cast, where to watch
Spring is blooming in "Virgin River" just in time for Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack's (Martin Henderson) wedding. Following a romance that build up over five seasons as they navigated the highs and lows of life, the two are finally ready to walk down the aisle and say their vows in Season 6 of Netflix's romantic drama.
Virgin River mayor and chief meddler Hope McRae (Annette O'Toole) is supervising the wedding organization, the town's equivalent of a royal wedding.
Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith told Netflix's Tudum the creators are "trying to hit all the milestones of the pre-wedding planning, the bachelor and bachelorette parties, the rehearsal dinner," this season.
The new season will pick up a few months after Season 5's Christmas-themed episodes as friends, community members and guests gather to celebrate the highly anticipated event of the season. Netflix promises the upcoming season set "against the backdrop of Mel and Jack’s romantic spring wedding season," will be full of "fresh twists and turns, escalating love triangles (and a) delightful wedding drama." Viewers will also be transported to the "magic and mystique" of Virgin River in the 1970s as secrets from Mel's parents' past are uncovered, says Netflix.
